(Blended or Traditional) Standard First Aid & CPR Level C + AED certification course offers a passionate, enjoyable, and efficient method of teaching CPR and First Aid. Compliant with WSIB Regulation 1101, this course is ideal for students and anyone pursuing certification in First Aid and CPR, as well as for occupational requirements.

This program duration is offered (Traditional) 2 days or (Blended 6 hours in-person) after completing the online portion and is valid for 3 years. Following successful completion of the training, each participant will receive a certificate and a First Aid & CPR Manual (Traditional) or (Blended) E book is provided + certificate.

Level C is used to teach all CPR courses, which includes (Adult, Child, Infant)

Participant Requirement

We recommend that the participants wear comfortable clothing and they may want to bring a blanket/towel as they will be required to do some work on the floor (first aid & CPR courses). Please contact our office if you require additional details.

Standard First Aid & CPR – PROGRAM CONTENTS INCLUDE:

  • Recognize the program’s goal and the First Aider’s function.
  • Use the four stages of emergency scene management to handle a medical emergency.
  • Talk about the reasons why people can be reluctant to provide first aid, such as lack of training, legal concerns, and personal safety.
  • Identify and manage various states of consciousness, including fainting.
  • Identify and manage shock.
  • Identify and address both small and major bleeding, including as amputations, internal bleeding, and embedded items.
  • Identify and manage illnesses such as diabetes, seizures, allergies, asthma, heart attacks, and strokes.
  • In order to handle a cardiac emergency, utilize the Survival Links.
  • Identify and care for burns.
  • Perform CPR on adults, children, and infants.
  • Explain the many situations in which an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) can be used.
  • Talk about AED maintenance and care.
  • Know when and how to transport this casualty if necessary, and be able to identify head and spinal traumas.
  • The two-step “5 x 5” rescue technique can be used to identify and treat choking.
  • Identify and address Heat & Cold-related injuries
  • Identify and address injuries to the eyes, ears, nose.
  • Identify poisonings and take appropriate action.
  • Identify and manage damage to the bones and joints.
  • Comprehend the secondary scene survey guidelines.
  • Recognize and apply the multiple casualty emergency triage principles.
